Britney Spears wearing earplugs on X-Factor

She said they were all excellent, on the X-Factor of Wednesday.
But she confused us, she seemed to be wearing earplugs on her ears and we wondered if she has heard anything at all. On the other hand, she seemed to hear because she was talking with those around her but I guess not as loud as she would by wearing no earplugs!
